MH Brickwork Rehabilitation (Cretex Seal)
The internal chimney seal is a
rubber seal that is held against the inside of the top part
of the manhole by two or more adjustable steel bands. The
seal is not rigid and adjusts to the frost and thaw cycle.
The chimney seal is fitted to cover from the first precast
section to just below the manhole frame cover.
Extensions are used as required to
span the distance from the precast section to the top of the
manhole.
